About Rebecca
For over 18 years, Rebecca has helped local and global organizations develop their messaging strategies, and communicate – internally and externally. She asks questions in order to understand the lay of land, the context and culture of the organization, and to identify all stakeholders – the obvious and not so obvious. With Rebecca you’ll get a blended approach, using both qualitative skills and quantitative analysis when approaching a project. She’ll dig in to the data and the details.
In the nonprofit arena, Rebecca is comfortable building relationships and working with employees, board members, volunteers, and current or potential corporate sponsors and donors. Rebecca creates marketing and development communication plans and materials that increase awareness, inform and inspire individuals to get involved with nonprofit organizations. Couple that with her marketing and sales success at several Fortune 100 technology companies, and you’ll find a consultant who gets measurable results.
When you work with Rebecca, you’ll quickly see how she:
Takes complex, incomplete and disjointed bits and pieces of information from a range of sources and makes sense of it. She loves solving puzzles, and the challenge of seeking out the missing pieces. She listens, asks questions, makes connections, and ensures that the end product is complete and succinct.
Bridges gaps within an organization. Getting departments out of their separate silos, and create an environment where they’re willing to develop and create more unified and powerful messages to external audiences. Whether it’s marketing and development, sales and marketing, home office and field sales, or the technology side of the house and its polar opposite, she builds a common ground for collaboration.
Rebecca draws on her experience working with and for a wide range of organizations, including:
The Philadelphia Orchestra Association, The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, Women’s & Children’s Alliance, MCPAWS Regional Animal Shelter, Publicis Groupe, IBM, Hewlett-Packard Company, and Micron Technology, Inc.
Rebecca has a BA in History and English from Union College, and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. She lives in Idaho with her husband and dog. In her spare time you’ll find her outside playing.
